Free Trial Session

If you're looking to join Flaming Feathers, you can sign up for a free trial session using this link to our booking platform, Momence. You will be required to enter a number of details so that if you do wish to continue as a member we have the appropriate information to register you with Badminton Ireland.

As a trial member, you get one free session and will be tagged with the ability to purchase additional Pay as you Go session passes for three weeks / 21 days.

In order to attend a badminton session with us, you must agree to abide by our club Code of Conduct.

Booking your first session

While you have an active trial membership you can use our Booking Link to select and book in for a session using your free trial credit. Select the appropriate session and click on Book to open the booking screen.

On the booking screen, make sure to choose that you want to use your class/appointment credits to complete your booking. You will also have to agree to the club Code of Conduct, as outlined above.

Alternatively you can complete your booking using the Momence App on your phone. If you have any issues with this you can use the inbuilt messaging function in Momence to contact us and request assistance.

Purchasing additional Credits

Once your free trial credit has been exhausted you will need to purchase additional credits in order to attend training sessions. As a trial member, these are available in single credit packs.

If you become a full member you will be able to purchase larger credit packs, and session credits will cost less than they do as a trial member due to our hybrid membership structure. These credits are available from the below links, or directly within the Momence App on your phone:

Please note that credit packs expire 6 months after purchase.

Flaming Feathers Membership

If you've decided to join the Flaming Feathers community, you can sign up for a membership subscription using this link. Membership costs €12 per month, and is subject to a minimum term of 2 months. The charge for the first month will be pro-rated to the amount of days left in the current month.

You can pay for your membership either with a credit / debit card via Stripe, or via SEPA direct debit. As the processing fees are lower for direct debits we would request that you use DD for your monthly membership payment, but the choice is yours. Flaming Feathers do not pass on processing fees to members.

As a member, you get reduced pricing on badminton training sessions and can book in for sessions ahead of non-members. Additionally, on a monthly basis you get the ability to invite along one friend who has not played with us before to a session.

Insurance / Badminton Ireland Membership

Once you've signed up as a Flaming Feathers member, you also will need to arrange for membership of Badminton Ireland (BI). Everyone is required to be a BI member to play with any badminton club based in Ireland, and this membership also arranges insurance cover for you in case you get injured playing the sport. You can sign up for BI membership here using the Badminton Ireland website (please ensure to select Flaming Feathers as your club!). Alternatively, if you prefer a friction-free experience, Flaming Feathers will register you with BI if you purchase this additional item on the FF Momence site.

Please note that you must already be a full Flaming Feathers member in order to purchase this. 

Badminton Ireland Membership must be obtained on a yearly basis, and if you sign up to BI via Flaming Feathers the membership will not auto-renew - you must purchase this again next year if you are still playing badminton with us :)
