Booking Platform Migration - June 2025

In early June 2025 we are migrating our club booking platform from bSport to TeamUp. The last session bookable on bSport will be 4th June.

There are a number of reasons for this, most importantly around ease of administration of accounts both from a club management perspective and also from a user perspective. Simply put, we expect that TeamUp will give both club volunteers and members more control and enable a more self-service style of managing your ongoing Flaming Feathers membership.

If not - please do nothing. As an existing member, please DO NOT REGISTER for TeamUp manually. Wait until you get an email invite.

 

What to Expect From the Migration Process

When the migration kicks off, you will get an email invitation from TeamUp with the subject line "Access to Flaming Feathers's Online System". It will look something like this:

When you get this email, please click the link in the body of the email which will walk you through the signup process for TeamUp. We're only moving over essential information, so you will need to add some extra info as part of creating your account. Once this is completed, and you've agreed to the 2025 Club Charter that was ratified at our recent AGM, you'll have access to the new system and receive a welcome email:

Once you've done this, you should be able to download and log in via our Flaming Feathers App on the Google Play and Apple App Stores:

Note: We advise that you should register using the link in the email that you will get, and not register directly on the Flaming Feathers app unless you are a new member who doesn't have an existing bSport membership to transfer.

How will my membership of the club be affected?

The migration will take place in early June, so all members will have paid their monthly subscription on 1st June. Anyone who is a current member a the time of migration will be assigned a time-limited membership in TeamUp "Flaming Feathers - Migrated from bSport".

  • This membership will be valid until June 30th 2025. 
  • TeamUp will configure everyone migrated and assigned a " Flaming Feathers - Migrated from bSport" membership to automatically renew into a regular "Flaming Feathers - Member" membership on 1st July. There should be no action required from you to retain your monthly membership, but you do need to have entered a payment method during June in order for the payment to process successfully.

What will happen to my existing membership in bSport?

  • After the membership subscription payment for June has been processed we will manually be cancelling all bSport subscriptions. As a member, you will not need to take any action here. 
  • The final Flaming Feathers training session bookable via bSport will be on Wednesday 4th June.
  • We recommend keeping your bSport account active during June as a failsafe in case of any hiccups with TeamUp, but by the end of June it should be safe to delete, and we would recommend that you do this. You will not be charged a July subscription from Flaming Feathers via bSport. We will let you know when you should do this.

What will happen to my unused credits on bSport?

  • As we will no longer be using bSport for bookings your credits will not be usable anymore.
  • Once you have claimed your TeamUp account we will allocate a corresponding amount of TeamUp session credits to anyone with outstanding bSport credits/passes.
